Earl Joostema is the owner of NICAM Appraisals Inc. and is a member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada “in good standing”.

We have been appraising in the South Okanagan for 14 years.  Mr. Joostema holds the designation of “Canadian Residential Appraiser” and holds a Certificate in “Real Property Assessment” from the University of British Columbia (UBC).
In the past 20 years, we have completed more than 12000 real property appraisals.  Our appraisal areas include the entire South Okanagan - Similkameen which includes the City of Penticton, Summerland, Naramata, Oliver, Osoyoos, Keremeos, Cawston, Princeton and all of the outlying areas which expand south to the United States border, north of Princeton to the Coquihalla connector, east to Summerland, and west to Manning Park.

We appraise a variety of properties including single family residential, small and large holdings including hobby farms, rural recreational properties, seasonal cabins and local and rural lakeshore. 

​We can also perform appraisals in more distant areas and would be happy to quote on them or refer you to someone who can complete these in a timely manner.
